Universal Studios Hollywood x Spirit Airlines Unveils Nintendo-Themed Aircraft
The collaboration was announced via X (formerly Twitter) by Universal Studios Hollywood, showcasing the Airbus A320neo. Adorned in Spirit Airlines' signature yellow, the aircraft features the airline's branding along with a distinctive Super Nintendo World graphic towards the rear.
Spirit Airlines Nintendo Plane Details
Highlighting the theme, an image of Mario energetically jumping with a "Wahoo!" above Super Nintendo World decorates the plane. Mario's iconic pose and the Super Nintendo World logo add a touch of magic, inviting passengers to experience the excitement of the Mushroom Kingdom. This creative initiative by Universal Studios Hollywood and Spirit Airlines offers fans a new way to connect with Super Nintendo World, even before they land!
Other Super Nintendo World News
The Universal Studios x Spirit Airlines Nintendo airplane collab is just the latest in a strand of Super Nintendo World news we've had recently. The Hollywood Super Nintendo World recently celebrated its first anniversary of the theme park (good timing on the plane promotion!), where guests were able to visit the new Power-Up Café and collect special, limited-edition buttons.
In addition, construction on the Super Nintendo World Orlando location is making progress, with aerial site photos giving us an indication of what to expect with this location for the 2025 estimated launch. Until then, we'll at least have the concept art to go by.
