Nintendo has officially released the final wave of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 user icons for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The update wraps up the galaxy-themed icon collection following the Galaxy 1 and 2 bundle that released on October 2nd, giving players one last chance to add these stellar designs to their profiles.
The Super Mario Galaxy bundle has released strong, but fell short of claiming the top title to Ghost of Yotei in the weekly sales rankings.

Final Wave Brings a Cosmic Finish
The latest batch includes a range of new character icons featuring favorites from both games — including Mario, Rosalina, and the ever-charming Luma. Each can be customized with different borders and color schemes through the Nintendo Switch Online app, available on both the current Switch and Switch 2 home menu.

Nintendo has confirmed this is the final wave for the Super Mario Galaxy icon series, available for a limited time through the Switch Online Missions & Rewards program. Players can redeem their My Nintendo Platinum Points to claim the icons before they rotate out — expected to end in mid-October 2025.
