Sonic x Shadow Generations Announcement Trailer
New Campaign and Enhanced Visuals in Sonic x Shadow Generations
The fresh narrative centers on Shadow, offering players a chance to explore new powers and abilities that showcase why he's revered as the Ultimate Life Form. Shadow has been teased as a main character in the upcoming Sonic Movie 3 cinematic title, so his inclusion in this game couldn't have had better timing.
Additionally, the remaster includes the original Sonic Generations game but with a significant facelift. Players can expect remastered versions of the beloved 2D and 3D stages, complete with upgraded visuals and additional bonus content.
The release marks the first instance of the main Sonic Generations game arriving on a Nintendo platform, and helps to "reboot" this version of the Sonic franchise. Previously, a different iteration, developed by Dimps, was available on the Nintendo 3DS, focusing exclusively on 2D side-scrolling action.
