Sonic Superstars' Shadow Costume: First Look and Availability on Switch
As of February 15, the first glimpse of the Shadow costume has been revealed, alongside its release on the Nintendo Switch. SEGA is offering the costume as free downloadable content (DLC) on the eShop, allowing Switch players immediate access to this new addition.
2024: Year of Shadow the Hedgehog
2024 is really shaping up to be Shadow's year.
The introduction of the Shadow costume coincides with the celebration of the newly announced Sonic x Shadow Generations. This remaster introduces a fresh storyline centered around Shadow the Hedgehog, promising an enriched narrative experience for players. SEGA's strategy to link the costume release with the game's announcement serves to heighten interest in both the new content and the remaster itself.
In addition, Shadow is set to be a focal point of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie. From leaked storyboards (that have since been taken down by Paramount) as well as the movie's logo release, it looks like we're in store for a Sonic Adventure 2-like storyline. Personally, I'm all here for it.
