Renowned data miner billbil-kun has dropped some intriguing insights into Nintendo's plans. According to this trusted source, the gaming titan is prepping to launch a Nintendo Switch OLED - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe pack. This package, however, won't be just any regular release. Nintendo seems to be gearing up for something special.

You might be thinking, "How credible is billbil-kun"? Fair question. He has generally been reliable in the past with his information, even providing early insight into the Nintendo Switch Mario Red Edition OLED model days before the official announcement during Nintendo's Mario Wonder Direct Event a few months ago.

What’s Included in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Nintendo Switch OLED Bundle?

While many fans were expecting an exclusive edition console, it appears that this bundle will showcase the standard Switch OLED console.

Adorned in the vibrant neon red and neon blue colors, this console will surely be a beauty. Accompanying the console is a digital download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As a cherry on top, Nintendo's also throwing in a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription. That’s some generous bundling!

What is the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle Release Date?

At this time, details for the U.S. and UK are still under wraps, so we don't have much to go off of just yet.

For our friends in Europe, you're in luck! Mark your calendars for November 20 if you're in Europe, as that's the projected release date. The recommended retail price is reportedly €349; however, billbil-kun notes a French retailer already dropping its listing price to a discounted €310.49 price.

The Future of the Nintendo Switch

While the company remains tight-lipped about its next-gen console, some interesting tidbits have emerged throughout the year.

Back in July, VGC's sources reported that Nintendo had shared development kits for a potential "Switch 2" with key collaborators. Moreover, whispers from Gamescom in August hint at Nintendo privately showcasing tech demos for a successor to the current Switch.

Needless to say, news about another Nintendo Switch OLED franchise model isn't that surprising. But, with all the rumors and supporting evidence around the next-gen console, it feels like it will be a matter of time until the next console news isn't related to the current Switch model.
