Luigi's Mansion Meets Mr. Bean
During the game's early development, the team at Next Level Games toyed with various concepts, from detective mysteries to a Gauntlet-like hack 'n' slash. However, it was the legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto who steered the project back to its roots, suggesting an episodic structure to align with the game's comedic spirit.
The developers immersed themselves in episodes of Mr. Bean, crafting Luigi's character to mirror the beloved bumbler, resulting in our lovable hero's delightfully awkward heroics.
