SEGA's Sonic franchise has had a strong showing in 2023. Throughout the year, Sonic released the latest 2D side-scroller in the franchise, Sonic Superstars, as well as the Final Horizon Content Update for Sonic Frontiers on the Nintendo Switch to name a few.
Well it doesn't look like SEGA is stopping anytime soon, thanks to a recent tweet from the company. Sonic will be rolling (or running) into 2024 with more episodes of Sonic Prime confirmed to stream on Netflix.

SEGA Confirms More Sonic Prime Episodes to Air in 2024 on Netflix
SEGA's tweet contains a video showcasing a showdown between Sonic and Shadow taking on Nine, one of the Miles "Tails" Prower variants in the Sonic Prime universe. You can see more in the link below.
Sonic Prime Overview
If you haven't had a chance to watch the show, Sonic Prime just aired Season 2 in July earlier this year. With this announcement, Season 3 is confirmed to be streaming on Netflix in 2024.
Sonic Prime is an animated series featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and other characters in the franchise, including Dr. Eggman. On trend with other popular franchises these days, Sonic Prime explores a multiverse adventure in the Shatterverse after a crystal called the Paradox Prism fractures.
How to Watch Sonic Prime Season 2
Season 2 of Sonic Prime was made available earlier this year. You can stream the series through your Netflix account.
When Does Sonic Prime Season 3 Release?
Sonic Prime Season 3 is confirmed to begin streaming on Netflix on January 11, 2024.
