The Super Mario Bros. Movie Receives 3 Nominations at 2024 Golden Globes
Since its debut earlier this year, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has not only skyrocketed to become one of the top-grossing films of 2023 but has also set a new standard for video game adaptations. However, the competition is stiff. It faces off against cinematic titans like The Boy and the Heron, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Barbie, making the race for these awards anything but predictable.
Category Nominations
Produced in collaboration with Illumination, the film is vying for the title of Best Motion Picture - Animated.
It's also contending in a brand-new category introduced this year, the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, showcasing its monumental success at the box office. The cherry on top is the nomination for Peaches in the Best Original Song - Motion Picture category, adding a musical accolade to its list of achievements.
