Yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation, centered around the Super Mario Wonder theme, was nothing short of brilliant. It offered an up-close glimpse of the vibrant world of the first new 2D Mario platformer since Super Mario Bros. U, which initially launched alongside the Wii U back in November 2012. Ryan McCaffrey, a seasoned IGN team member, had the privilege of immersing himself in an hour-long Super Mario Wonder preview during a recent demo event in the USA. His excitement and enthusiasm for the game's captivating elements were palpable.
In his preview, McCaffrey went so far as to declare, "Even the brief glimpse I had has me eager to set aside all the other major blockbuster games slated for October." Super Mario Wonder is set to debut on the Nintendo Switch on Friday, October 20th. You can catch Ryan's concise five-minute preview below for more insights.
