Award-Winning Indie Title, Outer Wilds, Releasing on Switch in December

Four years after its initial release for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4, Outer Wilds will be receiving its long-awaited arrival to the Nintendo Switch platform. In a tweet by Nintendo earlier today, the company confirmed Outer Wilds will be making its debut on the console just weeks from now - December 7th!

Preparing for Outer Wilds Nintendo Switch Release

Outer Wilds is an action-adventure game that was developed by Mobius Digital and published buy Annapurna Interactive in 2019. It later re-released for the next-gen PlayStation 5 and XboX Series X/S consoles in 2022.

Now, the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch console.

Outer Wilds will be releasing for the Switch with the title Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition. The official tweet is below.

If you haven't had a chance to play this indie fan-favorite, the game is all about exploration. As the main character, you're preparing for your first solo space flight, quickly coming to terms that something is amiss. The player character ends up stuck in a time loop, learning more about their situation and the mysterious Nomai race throughout the story.

When Does Outer Wilds Release on the Nintendo Switch
