Peripheral manufacturer 8BitDo has unveiled its latest offerings for the nostalgic mechanical keyboard gamer – the N Edition and Fami Edition mechanical keyboards. These Nintendo inspired keyboards pay homage to two legendary 8-bit consoles – the NES and the Famicom.
The keyboards, with identical specifications, sport a ten-keyless layout, catering to users who prefer or require compact keyboards for their gaming setups. One of the key highlights is the keyboards' versatile connectivity options, allowing connections to Windows PCs and Android devices via USB-C or Bluetooth, dongle included for added compatibility.

Customization is at the core of these keyboards, facilitated by 8BitDo's Ultimate V2 Software. Users can easily map macros to each keyboard, enhancing their gaming experience. Conveniently positioned knobs on the upper left corner of the keyboards enable easy volume adjustment and playback control.
Adding a touch of nostalgia, the N Edition and Fami Edition come equipped with distinctive red A and B buttons, serving as macro keys. Gamers can personalize these macros, allowing themselves a quick and efficient execution of complex commands.
Excited to get your hands on these retro-themed keyboards? You can now pre-order both variants on Amazon for $99.99. The keyboards are set to start shipping on September 20th of this year.
