Sidekicks

Throughout his journey, Mario encounters a diverse cast of sidekicks who join him in his quest to unlock the Thousand-Year Door and save Princess Peach, who has been kidnapped once again. The sidekicks you'll meet in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door include:

Goombella, a resourceful and intelligent Goomba who provides information on the game's locations and characters.

Koops, a shy Koopa Troopa with a powerful shell that can be used to hit switches and attack enemies from a distance.

Madame Flurrie, a wind spirit who can create gusts of wind to reveal hidden objects and blow away obstacles.
