During these outbreaks, not only are trainers presented with an augmented opportunity to capture Pokémon essential for their Pokedex, but the shimmering allure of Shiny Pokémon becomes even more tantalizing.

How To Apply Shiny Hunting and Mass Outbreaks

The mechanics are straightforward but rewarding: successfully defeating or capturing 20-30 Pokémon during a mass outbreak rewards the player with an additional Shiny roll. Securing another set of 20-30 Pokémon further enhances this probability, adding another Shiny roll.

According to a recent update from the renowned Serebii Twitter handle, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's inaugural Halloween event is slated to span from October 27 to October 31. This limited-time event will trigger mass outbreaks specifically of Ghost-type Pokémon in both the Paldea region and the Kitakami territory available via The Teal Mask DLC.

Confirmed attendees of this ghostly gathering include the likes of Mimikyu, Greavard, Phantump, and Drifloon. Notably, each of these Pokémon may potentially bear the unique Crafty Mark. While these are the currently identified participants, it's anticipated that the live event might reveal even more Ghost-type Pokémon.

An intriguing addition to this Halloween celebration is the introduction of a Tera Raid battle. Trainers can look forward to challenging a formidable 5-Star Raid Battle against a Ghost Tera Type Mismagius. Triumphing against this spectral adversary offers the enticing prospect of earning Rare Candy.
