Highlights
Wonder Seeds
From the looks of it, Wonder Seeds are the game's new mechanic, bringing twists to the classic side-scrolling gameplay experience.
The gameplay takes a turn after touching a Wonder Seed, and new elements are introduced. One notable example is the change in warp pipe mechanics, as the pipe begins to slither like a worm.
Multiplayer
Yes, this game looks like it will support multiplayer platformer and duel-like games. The trailer highlights players choosing alternative characters, such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toad, and Yoshi.
New Transformations
The trailer highlighted two new transformations that we were able to see: a rolling, spiky ball and an elephant! We're personally most excited for the elephant!
Release Date
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be available later this year on 10/20/2023.
