Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Version 2.0.1 Notice

Per the Pokémon Company's latest tweet, the publisher is aiming for a Version 2.0.1 update to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in the first half of October.

Version 2.0.1 Bug Fixes

The next update looks to address the following bugs:

  • Under certain conditions, victories against the NPC Trainers scattered across the game world may not be recorded. As a result, the rewards the players can earn by winning a certain number of battles - such as from Pokémon League representatives in the Paldea region or Ogre Clan members in the land of Kitakami - may not be obtainable at this time.

  • It is not currently possible to transfer certain special Pokémon to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet via Pokémon HOME if those Pokémon were brought into Pokémon HOME from Pokémon GO, even if a Pokémon of the same species was already obtained in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet prior to version 1.3.2.
