NintendoUK Announces Pokémon DLC Physical Release in November

When NintendoUK shared this big reveal on Twitter earlier today, it was disclosed that the physical copy of the DLC will incorporate the current version of the game, inclusive of “The Teal Mask DLC.”

However, the journey doesn't just stop there! An update is mandated once the second portion of the DLC, labeled “The Indigo Disk,” drops. Curiously enough, there’s no release date in sight for this segment, leaving fans in intriguing anticipation.

This implies that fans will receive a physical DLC cartridge, but not with all the anticipated DLC content from the get-go, offering a staggered exploration into the extended universe of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Physical Copy DLC Extra Perks

Those who decide to dive into this immersive Pokémon world with the new physical release will be welcomed with a Serial Code. This isn’t just any Serial Code; it grants access to a whopping 100 Poké Balls! Given the influx of new Pokémon introduced with the DLC, trainers will find these extra Poké Balls particularly useful.

Unfortunately, details regarding pre-orders and pricing for this international physical release remain under wraps. Rest assured, we’re all eyes and ears for the upcoming updates in the following weeks.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero First Impressions and High Hopes

It’s worth noting that the first chapter of the Scarlet and Violet DLC has received mixed reactions, with some fans finding it a tad disappointing. At Nintendo Supply, our review of Part 1 of the DLC was a bit more positive, albeit based on the fact that the base game experience had been significantly glitchy during our first playthrough. To be fair, the bar wasn't set high.

Based on the story set in The Teal Mask, we continue to have high hopes leading into Part 2, The Indigo Disk, slated for release in the coming months.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, the gaming world is abuzz with the international physical release of "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, set to be unleashed this November. With the inclusion of The Teal Mask DLC in the physical copy, and more adventures looming with the yet-to-be-released The Indigo Disk, Pokémon trainers are in for a roller-coaster ride of discovery and excitement.

Fans looking to add this to their collection should be prepared for additional updates and keep their eyes peeled for more information on pre-orders and pricing.
