Those of us eagerly awaiting the US release of the much-anticipated animated series, Pokémon Horizons, will need a bit more patience. The Pokémon Company announced a slight shift in the series' debut schedule on Netflix.
This marks a brief delay from the initial plan, but the excitement remains high for what's touted as the first major new Pokémon series in over two decades.

Pokémon Horizons Netflix Airing Delayed in U.S.

Pokémon Horizons Details: A Fresh Era Begins
Pokémon Horizons has already made waves in the UK, where it premiered in December, currently streaming on BBC iPlayer and CBBC; however the US Netflix version is not yet available until the now-delayed date. This new series represents a significant milestone, being the first mainline Pokémon animation in more than 25 years.
Meet Liko, Sprigatito, and More in the Paldea Region
The series introduces viewers to an adventurous duo, Liko and Roy, along with their partner Pokémon, Sprigatito and Fuecoco.
Pokémon Horizons is set in the Paldea region – the same backdrop as the popular Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games – and promises a blend of familiar elements and exciting new twists.
When is Pokémon Horizons available on Netflix US?
The US Netflix version of Pokémon Horizons will premiere on March 7, 2024. This delay may be a small hiccup, but it seems the world of Pokémon is about to expand in thrilling new ways!
Where can I stream Pokémon?
In a recent announcement, Pokémon will no longer be available through the Nintendo Switch's Pokémon TV app. This will be going into effect on March 28th.
Once the Pokémon TV app is officially discontinued, fans will need to migrate to other streaming services - including Netflix - to watch both Pokémon Horizons and other past releases.
