While Pikmin 4 continues to dominate, there are some new kids on the block. "The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her" by MAGES. debuted at number two with 10,720 units sold. Another new entry is "Virche Evermore: -EpiC:lycoris-" by Idea Factory, which landed at number four with 8,633 units sold.
But let's not forget the evergreen titles. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still going strong at number three, with lifetime sales now exceeding 5.4 million units. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is hanging on at number nine, but with over 1.8 million units sold since its release, it's far from a slouch.

As expected, the list is dominated by Nintendo titles (highlighted in bold).
Amidst the Nintendo frenzy, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon by FromSoftware is making its presence felt on both PS4 and PS5. The game has sold 141,505 units on PS5 and 64,202 units on PS4, proving that the PlayStation community is still very much alive and kicking.
The Hardware Landscape: Nintendo Switch Still Leads
On the hardware front, there's no big surprise. The Nintendo Switch continues to be the go-to console in Japan, selling a total of 80,057 units across its various models. The PS5 disc edition is also doing well, with 40,104 units sold, although its Digital Edition is lagging behind, shifting just 3,519 units.
