Netflix's Pokémon Concierge Critic Ratings

Pokémon Concierge released on December 28th and has received strong critical acclaim in just under a week. Season 1 consists of four episodes that center around a new Pokémon concierge, Haru, who embarks new resort-themed adventure with over 20 different Pokémon!

Here's a what a few of the critics have to say about the four-episode miniseries.

Rotten Tomatoes tops the list, scoring the latest Netflix series with a perfect 100%. With more than 50 reviews, audience members have also rated Season 1 with a 90%. Here's what a few of the critics have to say:

"The felt-crafted stop-motion animation is incredible. Pokémon have never before been animated in such an adorable and tactile way." - Reuben Baron, Paste Magazine

"Pokémon Concierge demonstrates that the franchise holds boundless storytelling potential." - LaNeysha Campbell, But Why Tho? A Geek Community

IMDB: 7.7/10 (1.1k ratings)

IMDB offers a positive rating, although not as strong as the top of the list. Coming in at a 7.7/10 with more than 1,100 reviews, Pokémon Concierge is praised for the animation style and charming addition to the series. Here's what one of the featured reviews noted:

"Gorgeous stop animation Pokémon! What could you ask for more?

It looks amazing. The pokémons are so cute and the stories are so relaxing...I do wish the series is longer but I understand how difficult and time consuming stop animation is. Everything for me was perfect. It is a nice relaxing story, perfect for kids and adults." - ladyliliroche

Common Sense Media: 4/5 Stars

Common Sense Media is one of the nation's leading nonprofits that focuses on providing trustworthy information to parents and families. While it's not much of a surprise - given Pokémon's family-friendly approach - the series is parent-approved by Common Sense Media, receiving a rating of 4/5 stars.
