Where is Breath of the Wild's Sheikah Technology in Tears of the Kingdom?
According to Fujibayashi, post the Calamity's defeat, the Sheikah technology just...vanished.
This phenomenon wasn't something tucked away in a corner, it was witnessed by everyone in Hyrule! However, the reason behind this massive technological disappearance remains shrouded in mystery.
Now, if you're thinking that maybe someone in Hyrule would have the answers, think again. Fujibayashi cheekily mentions, "It's pretty standard for strange happenings to unfold in Hyrule." Locals chalked it up to some arcane workings of the ancient Sheikah tech. And, no one really felt the need to delve deeper.
Interestingly, Fujibayashi highlights a key detail – the civilizations in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are poles apart. Hence, each game was crafted keeping in mind the unique characteristics of its respective civilization. His succinct advice to the curious minds?
Just enjoy the game and embrace the mystery!
