The much-anticipated Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC finally gets a release date! For months, the only clue we've had to go on was "Winter 2024", so it had to be coming up.
In a Tweet (sorry, X post) earlier this morning, The Pokémon Company confirmed the release details we've been waiting to get our hands on.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC Release Details
The Indigo Disk is part-two of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. Let's see a bit more of what's in store for this update.
The Pokémon Company's Announcement
Accompanying the big reveal, Nintendo gave us another sneak peek at the artwork for this DLC. The action unfolds at the newly introduced Blueberry Academy. Remember our adventure in the previous update, The Teal Mask? That's where we first got wind of this school during our journey from our campus to the exotic island of Kitakami. Ah, and who can forget Carmine, Kieran, and their wise teacher Briar?
For those keen on battles, you'll be pleased to know that this academy specializes in just that! A special shout-out to the Blueberry Academy's Elite Four members - Amarys, Crispin, Drayton, and Lacey, who stand out in the artwork.
New and Returning Pokémon In The Indigo Disk DLC
One of the most exciting parts about part 2 of the DLC pack is that we'll be able to have a chance at all previous starter Pokémon. Yep, you read that right!
We'll also finally meet the turtle-esque Pokémon, Terapagos, that has been teased several times throughout the story so far.
Finally, it wouldn't be Pokémon Scarlet and Violet without the introduction of new Paradox Pokémon. Especially noteworthy are the ones inspired by Cobalion (titled Iron Crown) and Raikou (known as Raging Bolt).
The Indigo Disk DLC Release Date
To sum it up, gear up for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC hitting the stores on December 14, 2023. For those who missed it, The Teal Mask add-on rolled out in September 2023.
