Is Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom DLC Lost in Translation? Understanding the Famitsu Interview

While machine translation has come a long way, there's always the possibility that some nuances got lost. That said, Aonuma's responses seem to make it clear that DLC for Tears of the Kingdom isn't on Nintendo's immediate roadmap.

Aonuma: There are no plans to release additional content at this time, but that's because I feel like we've done everything we can to create fun in that world. In the first place, the reason I decided to make this a sequel to the previous work was because I thought there was value in experiencing a new game in that Hyrule place.
