Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduced a new companion: Paradox Pokémon from a different era, bearing a familiar yet distinct appearance. There are two new subgroups: one with Pokémon based on ancient relatives of current Pokémon and one based on futuristic versions of current Pokémon. These new Pokémon are poised to make their Trading Card Game debut in 2024.
