Palworld Grows Past 35 Million Players: Steam and Xbox Sales Breakdown

Pocketpair's statistics reveal a significant preference for Palworld among PC and console gamers alike. The PC platform, Steam, accounts for 15 million of these sales, while the Xbox community has contributed another 10 million players.

Palworld Growth Trends Versus Pokémon Franchise

Although the pace of growth has shown signs of slowing, the addition of 6 million players across both platforms in the past three weeks alone speaks volumes about the game's sustained appeal.

At 25 million players, Palworld compares to one of the top-3 places in the Pokémon's franchise by units sold. For reference, Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green are The Pokémon Company's best-selling games and had sold just over 31 million lifetime units as of September 2023 per Statista. If they are able to maintain this growth, there's a good chance Palworld's unit sales will surpass Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green.
