Nintendo Passkey Security Feature Overview
Nintendo's new security feature involves registering a passkey with your Nintendo Account, providing an added layer of security to stop unauthorized access attempts. Users now have the option to use this passkey instead of their email address, sign-in ID, and password when signing into their accounts. The passkey is securely stored in advance on a designated smartphone or other compatible device, accessible during the sign-in process.

To employ this security measure, users must have a compatible device running the following operating systems:
iPhone with iOS 16 or newer
iPad with iPadOS 16 or newer
Mac computer with macOS 13 or newer
Android devices with Android OS 9 or newer
