Masahiro Sakurai Youtube Channel Comments
Masahiro's latest video update, titled Creators Change, Too, details his thoughts on the gaming industry and notes why you may see some creators shift towards other endeavors. Maybe it's something in another industry; maybe they've secured a specific patent, making enough money to take a break.
Sakurai goes ono to state:
"I'm still creating games for the time being, but I'm also making this YouTube channel."
This statement comes amidst discussions about various industry figures stepping away from their public roles, seeking different career paths, or transitioning to new industries.
Future Projects and Involvement in the Smash Bros. Universe
Sakurai's latest comment, however, doesn't hint at any specific upcoming projects (although we're still hoping for the rumored Super Smash Bros. Movie). Fans are advised to temper their expectations, as this does not necessarily signal new game releases on the horizon.
Recalling the past year, Sakurai was rumored to be "semi-retired" after completing the downloadable content for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Despite these whispers, earlier this year, he expressed his inability to envision a Super Smash Bros. game without his direct involvement.
This ongoing dedication to the gaming world, paired with his YouTube venture, illustrates Sakurai's multifaceted approach to his career in the gaming industry.
