Nintendo is bringing the cherished Endless Ocean series back to life with the announcement of Endless Ocean Luminous, set to launch on the Switch on May 2, 2024. This was just announced during Nintendo's February 2024 Partner Direct Showcase and marks a significant return for the series, which has been dormant since its earlier releases on the Wii.

Endless Ocean Series Returns to the Switch
Endless Ocean has always been a unique gem in Nintendo's lineup, offering players immersive underwater exploration experiences.
Originally developed by Akira, the same team behind Tetris 99, the series debuted in 2007 (2008 in North America) and received a sequel in 2009 (2010 in the West). With Endless Ocean Luminous, fans old and new will have the chance to dive into the serene and mysterious world beneath the waves once again.
Features and Early Details
While details have just been unveiled, players will be able to explore the Veiled Sea in Luminous, seeing over 500 different species of marine life throughout the playthrough - some of which were thought to have been extinct!
Up to 30 different players can connect with one another to explore the Veiled Sea.
Endless Ocean Luminous Release Timing
