With all the Palworld vs Pokémon news coming out this week, it's nice to take a break and share some new updates to the Pokémon franchise.
Starting today, the Pokémon Horizons universe is expanding with a delightful twist, as Japan welcomes two unique plushies to the Pokémon lineup. Before the show makes its grand debut in the United States on March 7th, 2024, fans in Japan are already embracing the charm of Captain Pikachu and Black Rayquaza in plush form!

Captain Pikachu and Black Rayquaza Pokémon Plushies Release in Japan

Starting tomorrow, January 27th (Saturday), Takara Tomy will release Captain Pikachu and black Rayquaza stuffed animals!
These are two Pokémon stuffed animals that appear in the anime "Pokemon".

Pikachu and Rayquaza Plush Product Details
These official plushes have hit the shelves in Japan, stirring excitement among Pokémon collectors.
Captain Pikachu
The Captain Pikachu plush is priced at $22.30 and offers a cute interpretation of the beloved character with a captain hat on (you can remove it if you want to). He stands at 22 centimeters tall.
Black Rayquaza
In contrast, the Black Rayquaza plush is priced at a slightly more expensive at $37.10. This plushie is also slightly larger, standing at 35 centimeters.

Distributed by Takara Tomy, these plushes are available in various locations across Japan, including through their official website.
